        Professionally trained, Chef Willard takes a local and home-style approach to cooking that is evident in his catering services. He uses only the freshest seasonal ingredients available, with an emphasis on locally grown organic and natural products whenever possible.
        Additionally, Chef Willard created a private line of spice rubs and seasonings for his catering company that is now available for anyone to purchase! Three savory blends use all natural ingredients to infuse your favorite dishes with mouth watering aromas and rich flavor. Chef Willard's versatile spice blends enhance every dish.

        About our Chef

        Willard Russell was born and raised on Mercer Island, Washington. During his younger years, it was the wonderful cooking of his mother Jane that inspired him. From the extravagant holiday parties, to her world famous (well it should be!) lobster thermidor, he was always at her side, learning and watching. After high school, it was off to college where he became the go-to guy for many of the grilling and barbecue parties on the fraternity lawns of the University of Washington campus. Following his undergraduate studies, Will continued his love of food. He was always trying to create the perfect barbecue while also working on his own seasoning salts, spice rubs, and barbecue sauces. Realizing to be the best at what he loves to do, he enrolled in the culinary program at the Art Institute of Seattle where he excelled in his studies, graduating with honors. During this program, Will also interned at the famous El Gaucho Restaurant in Seattle, perfecting his skills in the art of top notch restaurant style cooking. Will and his lovely wife Natalie have two children Isabel and Lil Will.
